Create a channel

by Desktale, you can create one or more channels to be linked with your account in Desktale to gather and manage, in a faster, more coordinated and efficient manner, communication with your customers, stakeholders or collaborators.

Channels can be external (Email, Widgets, Bees) or internal (Indoor).

WARNING

To create or edit a channel you must be the super administrator or an administrator user.

To access the channel section, click on Impostazioni (Setting section), then, clicking on Canali item the tab shown below will open.

As you can see, there is a list of channels.

If you are creating your first channel, the list will not contain any channels.

To create a new channel click on NEW to open the following tab.

On the detail page, a form with these fields (common to all channels) will appear on the right side:

  • Channel name: name the channel;
  • Channel type: define the channel type:
    • API;
    • Widget;
    • Email;
    • Indoor;
  • Activate: define whether the channel you are creating is active or not;
  • Description: briefly describe the channel;
  • Colour: assign a default colour to the channel (Crea un nuovo utente, Crea un nuovo utente, Crea un nuovo utente, Crea un nuovo utente, Crea un nuovo utente), or create and assign a custom colour through the use of the standard hexadecimal colour code.

Fill in all fields, and then click on SALVA.

This section is very important, as it allows you to define the type of channel and communication with Desktale.
